Window Bouquet

This bouquet was the last remnants of two flower arrangements I had in my gallery for an opening last spring. I loved the pattern created by the cast shadows and backlit window frame, tied to the vase of flowers. The simple design of the painting, with the nearly monochromatic backdrop, puts all of the focus on the textures and colors of the bouquet.
