"Winter Day at Delta Ponds" is an oil painting done 'en plein air', on site, at the location. This was painted at Delta Ponds in Eugene, Oregon on a crisp January day. The low winter light created a cool, long glow on the pond. Bare branches of trees and shrubs are reflected in the water. Buildings are barely visible through the mist in the distance.
