The Swimming Hole

I live in a land of lush greens; near a rock-tumbled River on Vancouver Island. The adults and kids alike play in the mountain-fed waters, where the sun and flat rocks warm this pool, and make it an ideal location to relax. In the Fall however, the weather is chilling off, and the waterhole rests for another few seasons. It was at this time I painted on location (en plein air) and felt the beauty and memories of a thousand voices laughing and rustling in the trees.
