Snow Patterns

I paint outside often in the winter where I live: mountains of southwest Idaho. I adore snow scenes and have been influenced by Russian masters' interpretations of winterscapes. On a sunny day in mid-winter it is not too cold and I am so happy to be hiding in the woods with my paints. (or skiing).
