Based on a 9x12 plein air study of a local fisherman's warehouse in LaConner, WA. I thought about how times have changed, and I was looking at the bones of a once thriving culture. This larger piece expands the narrative by installing a sense of freedom as the clouds cleared and the brilliant colors of a dying sun had the final word.
