Remembering Vincent

I am inspired by the versatility, brilliant colors and pigments of soft pastels. Being a colorist I am inspired by Van Gogh's use of colors. I have visited art museums in London, Paris and Amsterdam to see Van Gogh's paintings. I have traveled to Arles in the south of France where he lived and painted. I was also privileged to travel to Auver-sur-oise, north of Paris where Van Gogh spent his last months before he died. To stand in front of the subjects he painted was. mesmerizing. I cannot paint sunflowers with remembering Vincent
