A Different Perspective

While living in California, I frequently visited The Huntington Gardens, in San Marino, highlighting the most comprehensive display of desert plants any where in the world. The interesting details of all the cacti there captivate me. Collectively and individually, they feel like an abstract landscape, an otherworldly vista. This painting is the second in a series of cactus landscapes. The first, My Point of View, was done during a difficult period in my life. A Different Perspective reflects the passage of time bringing peace, healing and harmony.
