New Mercies

We have been to this loch in Scotland three times now, with its glassy waters and misty mountains catching the light. It exudes reflection, peace, and glory. That tiny sailboat has been anchored offshore every time, adding its own sort of charm. This particular morning there was a chill in the air. The mist was rising and the gorgeous peach of the sun was just hitting the top of the farthest peaks. It was perfectly quiet, and I breathed in the calm and beauty.
