Rise Up

Rise Up - is the call when the colors just before the dawn illuminate the eastern sky. This day, they mirrored on to the water, appearing as a picture glass reflecting the explosion in the sky above it. As a painter, to capture that fleeting moment is a passion. Sometimes the hardest part of this passion is to enable the viewer to not only experience the light just before the dawn, also to translate the unbelievable play of colors in a manor that you may see and believe the master theater performance is true. A photograph can never truly capture the tint and all that the human eye is able to do. They just have to be painted. You can't make these views up! "Rise Up" they call out.
