Elizabeth Lake - Migratory Bird Habitat Restoration

This former industrial site was restored to provide productive and beautiful habitat for migratory birds and resident waterfowl. The patterns and colours of the rushes, water, deciduous and evergreen trees and mountains create irresistible and ever-changing compositions that can be painted from many different perspectives throughout the year. This painting captures the essence of the place in the Fall before the winter freeze.
