This former industrial site was restored to productive and beautiful habitat for migratory birds and resident waterfowl. The patterns and colours of the rushes, water, deciduous and evergreen trees and the distant hills create irresistible and ever-changing compositions that can be painted from many different perspectives throughout the year.
