This is a magical realism watercolor of my home town Yosemite National Park. We gathered apples as children for our Grandpa to make pies, and were very excited to see the apple blossoms in spring. It felt like all was right with the world. My children gathered apples from the same trees and we made pies together using Grandpa's recipe.
