North Hudson River Rocks was inspired from a driving stop I made along the Hudson river. It was a treasure to see these giant boulders in the water everywhere and along the shore line. I took a lot of photos and sat down to do some sketching to use as reference for this painting. North Hudson River Rocks is part of a series of close up water and rock paintings from this one special stop I made.
