This is the Rupin river in the Himalayas with the Himalayan Blue sheep or Bharal in the Rupin Pass. These amazing hardy goats of the Himalayas are true survivors and their sighting makes the trek, which follows the shepherds' path (across the Rupin pass in Uttarakhand) a little more easier. The painting started as a small sketch, during the trek.
