Montaña Feliz

I painted this diptych at one of my favorite places on earth. Here I can loose myself in a rural agrarian life where the wind whispers to me as I paint. The birds, cows, and sheep speak to me in their own language. One day, I hope to paint their secrets. My favorite herding dog is always by my side. Once as she left her post to come with me. I heard her say "darn it, we are artists! We must paint."
