I look to nature and my travels through Europe, USA and Asia for inspirations for my paintings. Color, light and immediacy of brush strokes motivates me to paint and I aspire to create paintings that exhibit a fresh and spontaneous quality that provokes the viewer to interact with the painting. My painting ‘Roman Garden’ was painted on location in mid-summer during my painting trip to Lombardy region in Italy.
