Sleeping In The Shade

I came upon this scene in Scottsville, Kentucky. It took me a couple of years to find just the right scene. My sister-in-law wanted a cow painting, but she didn’t want any blue colors. I added the fence and distant corn field as this was how the farm she grew up on looked like. Her children
surprised her with it for Christmas and reported it brought more than a few tears.

I also created birthday cards for my husbands clients using photos of my paintings on the front. Several recipients told my husband they loved this one so much, they framed it.
