Illumination

Illumination is the first oil painting in my series of atmospheric works intended to explore the illumination which follows darkness and conversely, the darkness that precedes the light during a storm. Illumination has many companion works; multiple small atmospheric works painted en plein air on Canada's east and west coasts and Great Lakes region before and since its creation. It is owned by The Gallery in the Oak Bay Village, Victoria B.C.
