Pacific Fever represents the coastlines of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. This large painting is a 'medley' of locations including: Botanical Beach, Mackenzie Beach, Chesterman Beach, Juan de Fuca Trail, Mystic Beach. I have been painting en plein air in this region of Canada for over thirty years and as a result, innumerable sketches and studies created in various locations, are the true foundation of this large artwork begun in 2013 and completed in 2019 on canvas.
