The only time I've ever been to Alberta, Canada and the One Hundred Year Snow happens. So deep, it closes roads and brings down animals into areas they normally wouldn't go. Sheep licking salt off the roadway to stay alive. Warnings for bears coming out of their dens! This 16" x 20" oil was painted in the parking lot of a park because there were bear warnings in the area. It was 23 degrees and we were using our hand warmers under our palette's to keep our paint from freezing!
